.A district-level quiz competition for college students in Malappuram is being organized by the Department of Health and Arogya Keralam on September 28, in honor of World Rabies Day. Unemployed toddy tappers and sellers from the closed toddy shops in Malappuram district will receive financial assistance. Tappers will receive Rs 2,500 each, while sellers will receive Rs 2,000 each. Eligible workers must visit the Excise Circle Offices corresponding to their toddy shops with identification documents issued by the Toddy Welfare Fund Inspector to claim the first installment of the assistance.
