A free job fair will be held on January 24 at the Community Skill Park, Panavilakkode, Vizhinjam. Candidates with Plus Two, ITI, or Degree qualifications are eligible to participate. In addition, spot registration will be available for candidates who have completed ITI Fitter, Welder, or Sheet Metal courses after 2022 for admission to the Marine Structural Fitter and Fabricator course.

The Motor Vehicles Department, in association with the District Police, is organizing an E-Challan Adalat at the RTO National Sector Office, Kudappanakunnu, Thiruvananthapuram, on January 28 from 10 am to 3 pm.

 All e-challans issued by the Motor Vehicles Department and the Police, including those that have reached the courts, can be settled during the Adalat.

Applications are invited from students belonging to backward classes for free job-oriented skill training at the Indian Institute of Infrastructure and Construction (IIIC), Chavara, Kollam. A total of 200 candidates will be selected, with 40 trainees in each course.

Candidates who have passed Class 10 are eligible for training in Construction Laboratory and Field Technician (Level 4) and Assistant Electrician (Level 3). Those who have passed Plus One can apply for Excavator Operator (Level 4) and Mechanic Hydraulic (Level 4). Applicants with Plus Two qualification are eligible for Plumber General (Level 4) training.

Interested candidates should apply in person at IIIC, Chavara, Kollam, along with original certificates proving educational qualification, income, and caste. The last date for application is January 31.

Applications are invited for a free women empowerment job skill training programme jointly organized by the Indian Institute of Infrastructure and Construction (IIIC), Kollam–Chavara, under the State Government’s Labour Department, in association with IREL (India) Limited, a Central Public Sector Undertaking.

The programme includes a six-month supervisory-level training titled Certificate Programme in Food Production (Commis Chef) and is open to 25 women candidates. Applicants must be women aged between 18 and 30 years and should have passed Plus Two.

Only candidates from Kollam district are eligible to apply, with preference given to applicants from the IREL mining area.
