Widow pension recipients from the Kerala Fishermen's Welfare Fund Board must submit a certificate from the Village Officer/Gazetted Officer stating that they are not married/remarried to the Fisheries Offices by December 24 to continue receiving their pension. Copies of Aadhaar, bank passbook, ration card, name of the Panchayat/Municipality/Corporation where they reside, ward number, and mobile number should also be submitted along with the certificate.

The Kerala State Science and Technology Museum and Planetarium will host a special sky observation session on December 7 from 7 to 8 pm, offering the best view of the planet Jupiter this year. Ticket prices are Rs. 30 for adults and Rs. 20 for children.

The award is presented at the district level by the Animal Welfare Department to individuals or organizations that have conducted outstanding animal welfare activities in 2023-24 in Thiruvananthapuram district.
