In Ernakulam district, the movement of tipper lorries and vehicles with tipping mechanisms is prohibited from 8:30 am to 10:00 am and from 4:00 pm to 5:00 pm to accommodate school and college schedules. Strict action will be enforced against any vehicles violating this order.

As part of Wildlife Week celebrations, the 'Kananakanthi' forest produce and traditional food exhibition will take place at Manaveeyam Veethi, Thiruvananthapuram, until October 8. The event will feature an environmental book fair, a wildlife photo exhibition, tribal art presentations, cultural programs, a short film festival, discussions, and an art festival.

Eco-Tourism Safaris at Muthanga and Tholpetti in Wayanad Wildlife Sanctuary have resumed as of Wednesday (2.10.24). The safaris operate from 7 AM to 10 AM and 3 PM to 5 PM.
