As part of the government's third-anniversary celebration, a Local Adalat will be held in Idukki District on August 30 at Cheruthoni Town Hall. The Adalat will address applications submitted to Panchayats and the Municipal Corporation that have not been serviced within the specified time frame. Issues related to building permit completion, regularization, trade and commercial industry service licenses, civil registration, taxes, beneficiary schemes, project implementation, social security pensions, waste management, public facilities, asset management, and the efficiency of institutions, systems, and facilities will also be considered.   Wayanad Landslide: Guidelines for Providing Benefits to Dependents.

Wayanad: The government has issued guidelines relaxing the norms to ensure that the dependents of those who died in the Wayanad landslide receive their entitled benefits without delay. Under Section 19 of the Disaster Management Act, the government, exercising the powers of the State Disaster Management Authority, has issued an order to provide all benefits, including ex-gratia, to the dependents of the deceased, similar to the provisions made during the COVID-19 disaster.
