The Youth Commission invites applications from qualified, experienced volunteers for their Counseling Scheme. This initiative aims to provide psychological support through scientific counseling, therapy, and medication to individuals who have lost loved ones and are experiencing mental difficulties in disaster areas.   Wayanad Landslides - Ration shop operations will be restored soon.

The ration shop operations in the landslide-affected areas of Wayanad will soon be restored. Shops ARD 44 and 46, currently inoperable, will be rehabilitated and resumed immediately. Customers from these shops will continue to receive their July rations, and the necessary foodgrains for August distribution have been secured. The Supplyco CMD has been instructed to ensure the availability of essential commodities in the Meppadi and Kalpatta supermarkets, as well as in 13 outlets under the Kalpatta depot. Adequate stocks of rice, sugar, peanuts, coconut oil, and broad beans have been ensured for distribution in the disaster-affected areas.
