Constructed by the Kozhikode Corporation, She Lodge and Women's Hostel aims to provide affordable and secure lodging options for women visiting Kozhikode City. Serving as a flagship project for the Corporation, She Lodge, located on Railway Station Link Road, offers diverse accommodation options ranging from dormitories to deluxe AC rooms and double beds, with rates ranging from Rs 100 to Rs 2250 per day. Guests can conveniently book online and enjoy additional amenities, including food services at reasonable charges.In a bid to support working women, the Haimavathi Thayat Smaraka Working Women's Hostel in Mankhavu is equipped with double and quadruple bedrooms, ensuring both comfort and safety.The She Lodge initiative, launched by the government across all 14 districts of the state, exclusively caters to traveling women and their children. With a focus on safety, She Lodge provides single rooms and dormitories accommodating up to 50 women at a time. Manned entirely by female staff, including the car service department, the lodge ensures a secure environment with CCTV surveillance and additional security measures. Additionally, She Lodge offers essential amenities such as kitchen and dining facilities, alongside a dedicated online booking service.By bridging the gap between expensive private hostels and insecure low-cost accommodations, She Lodge serves as a beacon of empowerment for women travelers. The management of She Lodge and Women's Hostel is entrusted to Kudumbashree units like She World and Saphalyam Ayalkoottam, further emphasizing community involvement in these endeavors.
